If you specify a Trailing Edge Thickness value that is less than twice the Sheeting Allowance, your foam core will be short.  Some TE blending may be required.
Spar slots are an EXTRA COST Option.  Select NONE if not needed.

Spar slots will be cut for the full length of the panel.  Fill in values for
location, width and depth.  For multiple spar slots, enter additional
information below, or send a sketch or drawing to bob@flyingfoam.com.

We do not recommend spar slots for most foam wings, as they add complexity
and do not significantly increase the strength of the wing.  Click Here for more

Wing / Joiner tube holes are an EXTRA COST option.

Holes can be full length of the panel, or BLIND.  Blind holes
require a rectangular slot at the end of the hole for bow
access.  You can specify the size of this rectangular hole, or
we will make it the minimum allowable size.

For either hole type, and entry kerf is required to get the wire into
the hole.  The entry can be either from the top or bottom of the core.

All of the information that we use to program our CNC Hot Wire foam cutting machines can be provided here.  You can use this page for a single core, or a 2 or 3 piece core set. 

A 2 piece core set has 1 left and 1 right hand core. 
A 3 piece set adds a constant chord center panel. 

You can choose from thousands of named airfoils, and 9 different foam types.  You can add optional spar slots, and wing tube or joiner holes to your cores.  Core size is limited only by the foam material and equipment that we use.

Blind Tube holes require an access hole as shown below.  You can specify the size of this hole if desired.
*Number of Sets
We define a "set" as the number of foam panels required to build 1 airplane.  We are going to assume that your plane has 2 wing panels (1 left, 1 right), 2 stab panels, and 1 fin core.  If your project has a different count that this, please indicate this in the text area at the bottom of this form.

This page asumes that you are describing a 2 panel set, 1 right hand and 1 left hand foam panel.

You can use this form for a single foam panel.  Just let us know this in the comments section at the bottom of this form. 

If you need a 3rd constant chord center panel for a 3 panel set, simply tell us the span of the center panel, and we will use the root airfoil and chord information to cut this panel.
