Wing Core Panel Sizes
How to Size Custom Cores
The wing dimensions that you specify are of the finished wing.  FlyingFoam.com will calculate the length of the actual foam core. Chord Lengths and sizes should be specified as shown below:

Chord Length: This is the length of the airfoil after the wing is sheeted.
Sheeting Allowance:  This is the thickness of the sheeting that you will apply to the core.
Leading Edge Length:  Specify zero or none for a fully rounded core.
Trailing Edge Thickness:   This is the thickness of the trailing edge of the finished wing.
                                                  You should specify some value for this, as it is not practical to
                                                  to have a razor sharp trailing edge on most wings.

NOTE:  If you are going to apply a triangular balsa trailing edge to your wing, we can cutoff the
           trailing edge of the core for you.
Wing Core Panel Sizes
Specify Panel Lengths and Sizes as shown below. 

Panel Length:  This is the overall length of the panel core.  For a 2 panel wing, this will be 1/2 of the wing span. 
Root Chord Length:  This is the length of the root chord of the FINISHED wing. 
Tip Chord Length:  This is the length of the tip chord of the FINISHED wing.
Tip Setback:  This is the distance the leading edge of the tip chord is set back from the leading edge of the root chord.  For a wing with a straight leading edge, this will be zero.  For a wing with a straight trailing edge, this will be   (Root Chord Length - Tip Chord Length).

1. Your Name
2. Your shipping address
3. Length of wing panel (half of the wingspan)
4. Root airfoil name
5. Tip Airfoil name
6. Root Chord Length
7. Tip Chord Length
8. Setback of tip airfoil (amount of sweep back at leading edge)
9. Washin or washout (both root and tip if applicable)
10. Dihedral specification
11. Sheeting allowance
12. Leading edge length (zero for a fully rounded leading edge)
13. Trailing edge thickness
14. Additional cuts for wing spars, wing tubes, etc.
15. Type of foam
   (1# EPS, 1.5# EPS, 2# EPS, 2# Blue, 1.3# EPP, 1.9# EPP, or Spyder)
16. Quantity (1 set is just fine!)
